 What does it mean to build, and why do we build?
Is inserting a project into a place an act of addition or subtraction? It means introducing something that was not there before, but with what intention and for whom? If a project is conceived for the community, how can we know whether it will be accepted, or rejected?
Architects therefore constantly question the starting point of a project: personal and collective experiences, the physical and cultural context, and the relationships that emerge between individuals and space.
